Local Gazetteers Research Tools (LoGaRT) Working Group Featured in ISIS Issue 113

In the current issue of ISIS (December 2022), the MPIWG LoGaRT Working Group Alumni were featured for the focus section "Using Chinese Local Gazetteers for the History of Science." Shellen Xiao Wu, Jiajing Zhang, and Peter B. Lavelle present three papers enabled by the unique features of LoGaRT. This software allows researchers to analyze, collect, and search visual material and datasets.

In addition, Shellen Xiao contributed the introduction "Redrawing the Map of Science in Modern China." ISIS also chose to use LoGaRT to generate the cover of this exciting new issue.
