- The Reconstruction of the Sanctorian Chair
On June 9, 2018, around 70 institutes in Berlin and Potsdam opened their doors for the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften. The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science took part this year in collaboration with the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin-Buch. Members of the public joined to try out our reconstructed Sanctorian balance, and hear our Institute's scholars discuss topics from the history of genetics to medical physics!
