The "Open Lecture Series" at the Freie Universität Berlin, dedicated to the work of physicist Lise Meitner, will begin at the Freie Universität Berlin on Monday October 15, 2018 at 18:15.

MPIWG Research Scholar Annette Vogt will begin the series with her talk "Lise Meitner's Place in the History of Physics." The talk will be held at FU Berlin, Habelschwerdter Allee 45, Hörsaal 2, 14195 Berlin. Other lectures will follow week by week.

In addition to the lecture series, a new play on Lise Meitner will be presented, realized by the Viennese group PORTRAITTHEATER. The play is based on documentary material, including the extensive correspondence between Meitner and von Laue. Its premiere will take place on November 13, 2018 at 19:00 in the FU's Henry Ford Building.
