Three-Dimensional Scanning at the Transept of the Cathedral in Paris: The Benefit for Art History

Professor Albrecht will talk about his newly developed scanning methods for investigating medieval buildings, the composition of their individual parts, the changes they might have undergone over the centuries, and about how the results of the spatial measuring and imaging methods can be used in art historical research. The application of these methods to history of science projects will be addressed in a discussion session at the end of the talk.
