Our virtual doors will open at 17:00 with welcoming remarks from our representatives of the two host institutions, Barbara Schneider-Kempf and Jürgen Renn. Afterwards, friends and patrons of the exhibition will reflect upon the most important aspects for its emergence: the strong partnership between Italy and Germany and the importance of Berlin.

At the heart of the evening stands the talk by Prof. Alessandro Nova, who will introduce the method of analogy so often used by Leonardo and show that the work of the artist-researcher-engineer can only be explored by overcoming the boundaries of disciplines—from art to history to philosophy and the natural sciences.

Subsequently, our team of curators and the architect of the Berlin exhibition will speak about how Leonardo's intellectual cosmos was transformed into an exhibition, the role the architecture plays, and the challenges they faced while creating the exhibition. We look forward to a lively discussion and many questions from the audience via our YouTube Live Chat!
