Field Trip to Spore

Our second annual field trip takes us to Spore, a public-facing space in Neukölln that facilitates community-led cultural projects at the confluence of climate justice, ecological regeneration, and intergenerational learning. A general introduction by head of projects, Mohammed Abdallah, will be followed by a free (unguided) tour of this year’s exhibitions, which center practices and stories of water, forest, and seed protection.

About This Series

This event is part of the
Laboratory for Oral History and Experimental Media Spring 2024 series.

This series of monthly Institute-wide meetings begins a collective exploration of the theory and practice of oral history and ethnography as powerful, multimodal research methods for recovering perspectives and experiences that are often absent from traditional archives. Together, we will engage with diverse forms of research and communication across a range of media and visit local sites of interest.
