Edition Open Access

Founded ten years ago, Edition Open Access has evolved from a publication platform for open access monographs to a portal for other open access publication initiatives. A key feature remains the publication platform and book production workflow which has been substantially renewed in recent years.

The presentation will give a short history of the project—as well as its future goals—together with an overview of its new infrastructure, the publication platform, and insights into the production workflow that converts manuscripts into multiple formats ready for online and offline reading.

About This Series

Brown Bag Lunch is a bi-weekly meeting of researchers at the MPIWG who use or want to learn more about digital research methods, broadly encompassed by the term Digital Humanities. In the Brown Bag Lunch meetings, researchers can discuss tools, share ideas and experiences (good and bad), and learn from each other. Each session explores a new topic; workshops are usually interactive, and we often invite external speakers. Please feel free to bring your lunch, and a laptop or notebook in order to participate!
