In her project Predoctoral Fellow Teresa Hollerbach considers the work of the physician Sanctorius Sanctorius (1561–1636), who developed instruments to measure and quantify physiological change. Das Projekt untersucht Sanctorius’ Arbeit im Rahmen der Entstehung und Etablierung von Quantifizierungsmethoden in den Iatro-Wissenschaften, insbesondere in der iatromechanischen Medizin.
