- Artist in Residence: Critical Fabulations, Reworking the Methods and Margins of Design
Daniela K. Rosner has joined Department III as Artist in Residence. During her time at the Institute she will be working on her project "Critical Fabulations: Reworking the Methods and Margins of Design," which responds to the devastating range of unintentional consequences connected to material choices in technological developments. Daniela is also an Associate Professor of Human Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington, a Visiting Scholar at Humboldt University, and co-directs the TAT Lab. In 2020 she is to use an STS Making and Doing Award from the Society for Social Studies of Science (4S) for her project, Making Core Memory: Crafting Legacies of Women in Innovation," in collaboration with Samantha Shorey (University of Texas Austin).
